V7 BFG
The V7 BFG is a handheld dynamic supercardioid vocal microphone, the signature model for Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top. It suits live and studio vocals, speech, broadcast and podcasting, and can also be used on electric guitar and drums.

The V7 BFG is a signature variant of the sE V7 handheld microphone, finished in custom polished chrome with a purple internal windscreen. It uses a dynamic capsule with an aluminium voice coil and neodimium magnet, built around a supercardioid pattern to isolate the voice from other sources and allow plenty of gain before feedback.
The body is all metal, made from a zinc alloy, with a spring-steel mesh grille that resists dents and corrosion. The grille has a bevelled edge that keeps the microphone from rolling when set down. An integrated, patented shock-mount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration to keep handling noise low, and the internal windscreen reduces wind noise and plosives.
The microphone connects through a gold-plated 3-pin male XLR connector. In the box are a microphone clip, thread adapter, faux-leather pouch, polishing cloth, a spare black internal windscreen, two Jim Dunlop BFG Signature gel picks, a sticker and the user manual with warranty card.
