The Ampire D720 is a digital power amplifier from Reloop's Ampire series, which also includes the D360, D1080, D1700, D2100 and D2500. It delivers 2x 200 W into 8 Ohm or 2x 360 W into 4 Ohm in stereo mode, and 720 W into 8 Ohm when run mono-bridged. Channels A and B have separate amplifier circuits.
The chassis is one rack unit high and weighs 3.2 kg, which suits both rack installation and mobile use. A switch-mode power supply keeps heat output low, and variable-speed fans handle cooling. Protection includes a soft-start limiter that guards against overload at power-on, plus a thermal protective system.
Inputs are XLR and outputs use PA pro speaker cable connectors. The frequency range is 20 Hz to 20 kHz. An instruction manual is available as a PDF download from the maker.
