The Oxygen Pro 49 is a bus-powered MIDI controller built around a 49-key semi-weighted keybed with channel aftertouch and assignable zones. Above the keys sit 16 backlit RGB velocity-sensitive pads, 8 assignable knobs, 9 assignable faders and an OLED screen for quick edits. Pitch and modulation wheels are fitted at the left.
Preset and DAW buttons load auto-mapped layouts so that transport, faders, channel controls (record arm, solo, mute, select) and pan work in major DAWs such as Ableton Live, Pro Tools, MPC Beats, Cubase, Logic and Studio One once the matching configuration is chosen in the DAW. The controller also maps automatically to the bundled AIR virtual instruments. Performance helpers include Smart Chord (single-key chords with a custom mode), Smart Scale (16 scale variations that restrict playing to the chosen scale), Note Repeat with momentary or latch operation, and an arpeggiator with Type, Octave, Gate and Swing controls.
It connects to a computer by USB, which also supplies power. A 5-pin MIDI output drives external MIDI gear and a 1/4" jack accepts a sustain pedal. A software bundle is supplied via download card.
