Beschreibung
The X100 is the starting point of Cort's X Series. It uses a bolt-on construction with a Meranti body, whose tone is described as similar to mahogany with a strong upper-midrange. The hard maple neck carries a Jatoba fingerboard with a 15.75" (400 mm) radius and 24 medium nickel silver frets on a 25.5" (648 mm) scale.
Electronics are a Cort Powersound humbucker set wired to one volume, one tone and a 3-way switch. A 6-point vintage-style tremolo bridge handles pitch changes, and the tuners are die-cast. Hardware is finished in chrome. The top has a contoured arm cut for comfort.
The guitar comes in four open pore finishes: 3-Tone, Black Cherry, Black and Black Cherry Burst. The Open Pore Black Cherry Burst version is listed as OPBB. It is a passive electric guitar that connects to an amplifier through a standard instrument cable.
