RingerBringer is an all-analog ring modulation effect modelled on a boutique original used by artists such as Jeff Beck, Radiohead and Trent Reznor. It covers the range from light, lo-fi modulation up to extreme ring-modulated tones, and is built with hand-selected op-amps and transistors rather than digital emulation.
The control set centres on LFO, MOD, FREQ (frequency) and RATE, which can be combined with drive to produce anything from subtly overdriven textures to wobbling, warped lead sounds. The pedal is also suited to building sounds from scratch, creating layered frequencies and harmonics.
It is intended for guitar, bass, synthesizers and keyboards. The maker describes extensive input and output options, but the exact connections are not listed in the available product information.
