The TM-60 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern, so it favours sound from the front and rejects sound from the rear. Instead of relying on 48V phantom power from the connected device, it is powered by a single AA battery (DC 1.5V), which lets it work with interfaces and recorders that cannot supply phantom power.
The microphone body measures 28 x 190 x 28 mm and weighs 420 g. Its frequency response spans 50 Hz to 18,000 Hz, with a sensitivity of -45 dB (+/-3 dB), a maximum SPL of 126 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 70 dB. Output impedance is 200 ohms.
It connects through a male 3-pin XLR output. A wind screen, mic stand, mic cable, mic clip with a 5/8 inch screw and a 5/8-3/8 conversion adapter, and a soft case are supplied. The maker lists the model as discontinued and offers English and multilingual owner's manuals for download.
