The CD-160mkII is a single-disc CD player in a 19-inch rack-width chassis. It plays standard audio CDs and CDs containing MP3 files, and is an update of the earlier CD-160 with MP3 playback and a revised look. It has been discontinued and replaced by the CD-200.
Playback functions include shuffle and program play, intro check, and ±12% pitch control. Repeat options cover single and all repeat for audio CDs, and single, all and folder (album) repeat for MP3 discs. Electronic Shock Protection buffers 40 seconds of audio to help against disc skipping.
For connections, the player provides optical and coaxial S/PDIF digital outputs, along with a headphone output with level control. A wireless remote control is supplied. The unit measures 483 x 100 x 285 mm and weighs 4.1 kg.
