3050c

The 3050c is a two-way floorstanding loudspeaker sold as a pair. Each cabinet carries two 142 mm (5.5 in) mid/bass drivers using a continuous curved cone profile, plus a 22 mm (0.9 in) tweeter. The crossover sits at 2.4 kHz, and the stated frequency response is 42 Hz to 30 kHz (-6 dB).

The tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle, so pressure changes inside the cabinet and movement of the neighbouring driver do not affect it. The cabinets use point-to-point internal bracing for rigidity, and Helmholtz pressure equaliser tubes inside the enclosure reduce standing waves. The driver trims are one-piece satin metallic, and there are no visible joints or bolts on the front.

The speakers connect to an amplifier with speaker cable and are rated for 25 to 150 W amplifiers. Sensitivity is 90 dB, with a 6 Ω nominal impedance. Spike feet and rear stabilisers are supplied, along with grilles. Finishes are Satin Black, Satin White, Pin Oak and Claro Walnut. The model is part of a series that also includes a matching centre speaker for surround setups.
