The Studio Vintage Combo is a two-channel, all-valve combo with an EL34 power section, rated at 20W and switchable down to 5W. It is voiced after the original 1959 plexi: players can use the high treble input, the normal input, or blend the two channels with a patch cable. Controls cover Normal/Loudness II, High Treble/Loudness I, Treble, Middle, Bass and Presence.
The amp has a Celestion VT-Junior 10" speaker (16Ω, 50W) in a 1x10" configuration. The preamp uses ECC83 valves, with a further ECC83 as phase splitter, and the power stage uses two EL34 valves. A series, switchable effects loop is included, and there are no built-in effects.
Four 1/4" instrument inputs with high and low sensitivity are fitted. Outputs are five 1/4" speaker jacks for 16Ω, 8Ω and 4Ω loads, plus a 1/4" DI output. The amp is designed, engineered and made in the UK, and a detachable power cable is supplied.
