Beschreibung
The Les Paul Standard 50s follows the construction of 1950s Les Pauls. It has a non-weight-relieved mahogany body with a carved, figured maple cap, finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer with single-ply binding on the top and fretboard. The mahogany neck has a 50s Vintage profile and carries a bound Indian rosewood fretboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Two humbuckers handle the sound: a Burstbucker 1 in the neck position and a Burstbucker 2 in the bridge, both with Alnico 2 magnets. Controls are two volume and two tone knobs, hand-wired with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors, plus a 3-way toggle switch.
Hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons and gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers. Output is a single 1/4" jack. The guitar comes with a Gibson hardshell case and a Gibson accessory kit, and is offered in right- and left-handed versions.
