Beschreibung
The Johnny Marr Jaguar is an artist signature electric guitar built on the Jaguar body shape. It has a gloss lacquer alder body and a maple neck with a custom profile taken from Marr's own 1965 Jaguar, topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on a 24-inch scale. The neck is finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and uses a vintage-style butt-adjust truss rod.
Electronics centre on two custom-wound Bare Knuckle Johnny Marr single-coil pickups, controlled by master volume and master tone. A four-position blade switch on the lower horn selects bridge, both pickups in parallel, neck, or both in series. Two slide switches on the upper horn add a universal bright circuit and a separate bright circuit for the series position.
Hardware includes a Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles and nylon post inserts for stability, a chrome bridge cover, and a vintage-style floating tremolo tailpiece with a taller arm fitted with a nylon sleeve. The guitar is passive with no wireless or digital connections, and ships with a vintage-style hardshell case.
